Gobi Marketing Group is led by the dynamic Loán Lake (pronounced Lo-An), a seasoned communications and public relations expert. As a published author, journalist, public speaker, and destination marketing strategist, Loán brings a wealth of experience and passion to every project.
An award-winning public relations strategist, Loán launched her illustrious career on Capitol Hill. Over the past 30 years, she has crafted successful communications and marketing strategies for global non-profits, Fortune 500 companies, and top tourist destinations. Her expertise as a facilitator and writer has been instrumental in engaging multicultural and economically diverse communities.
Most recently, Loán served as the communications director for U.S. Congresswoman Alma Adams of North Carolina, where she significantly increased awareness for legislative initiatives through strategic communications.
Loán is an active board member of the Charlotte Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), serving on the Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
