I’ve spent my entire career writing in some capacity — advertising copy, scripts for radio shows, speeches, press releases, and interviews with CEOs and everyday folks. As a journalist, that’s to be expected, so recently, when I was asked to host a series of interviews for a video podcast, I found myself both excited and nervous at the same time!
Over the course of one day, I conducted seven sets of interviews on camera for a new podcast, “Maternal Wellness Matters,” powered by Care Ring to showcase the incredible work they are doing in the city of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County, to combat disparities in medical care for non-white, low-income mothers and their children.
The result? A chance to hear first-hand testimony about the life-saving and uplifting work that Care Ring has been providing in our community for seventy years. In this next episode, I speak with the mother of a past client, who understands the value that this organization brings to the community. What a powerful testimony to share just how Care Ring helped her young daughter through a life-changing moment.
